Color Wheel Painting

Objective: Create an original design of a color wheel by hand-mixing and showing off each color’s tints, tones, and shades.

  • This is a 10” x 10” hand-painted design done with acrylic gouache on watercolor paper

  • Starburst pattern is inspired by a kaleidoscope view of a 12pointed star: 3 points for each primary (RYB) and secondary color (OGV) ,and 6 points for each tertiary color(RO, YO, YG, BG, BV, RV)

  • The background is comprised of 2 achromatic gray values
